I am a tabletop gamer. Don’t get me wrong, I enjoy sports (although apparently many would argue that dodgeball is not a sport). I like video gaming as well (although over the recent years, I don’t find sitting on the couch for one to two hours of straight gaming all too appealing anymore). But there’s something about tabletop gaming that I thoroughly enjoy. Very rarely in our busy lives do we have these sit-down moments and have a battle of wits with your friends or family, or step outside the boundaries of our comfort zone and try new things, or laugh and have conversations with ACTUAL PEOPLE IN FRONT OF YOU.

So when people find out that I play board games, often they ask me what games they should buy, or what I think of a certain game, or if I’ve played Settlers of Catan (you wouldn’t believe how often I get asked that question. The answer is yes I have played it and I have two of the expansions).

I figured that I should get back into writing, and summarize all these opinions in a blog. This blog contains reviews, and posts dedicated to tabletop gaming. I hope you enjoy the posts.
